Panoramic Ponderings

My life. In letters.

Married!

Well, it's official! I am Mrs de Castro Lima. Isn't that just wild? Sometimes I look down at my ring and I can't believe I actually got married. I actually got married!

Events leading up to the big day were a bit... Brazilian, shall we say. The week before we got married the church decided to rip out the entire floor of the sanctuary. The day before the wedding, it still wasn't finished - the pastor told Deison that IF things didn't work out by tomorrow... they'd find another spot for us to get married. Lovely.

You'd think I would have been freaking out, but a) I already knew my wedding wouldn't happen according to Canadian standards or ideals and b) at the end of the day, no matter what... I would still get to put on a pretty white dress and marry Deison. And the rest? Who cares!

We're currently honeymooning by the beach and having a grand time. Though I think we're almost ready to get back home and start sorting out our new place :) Here's a few pics of the big day.. I have a million and it was hard to just pick a few.. and I'm waiting anxiously for the pics from the photographer which are going to be amazing... BUT here's a glimpse - enjoy!
