Well hello cyber world!
I'm back. I've been slightly MIA
these last few weeks as we were busy moving house. That's right, we moved
again. We bought a house! It's a long story, but instead of paying month after
month of rent... it was a better investment to buy something we can sell later.
We hadn't even unpacked all our
stuff and I already caught a rat. Well, Deison caught it. But not before it
chased me down the hall. Yeah, CHASED me. So traumatizing. But
anyway.
So we moved into a "new
development" which means the roads aren't paved, there is sand everywhere,
wild horses and donkeys that roam the roads... it literally feels like I've
gone back 100 years in time when I walk outside my front door. But it seems to
be breezier here, and the house is a bit smaller (less to clean-yes!). We also
have a kind of "back-yard ish area" where we are going to put grass.
GRASS! We also have 2 banana trees and a papaya tree. Neat right?
We're still in the process of
organizing everything because when you move in Brazil, you literally take
everything with you - including the sinks/counters/cabinets, everything. Hahah
isn't that weirdly funny? So we had to buy a ton of stuff just to make it
liveable. The internet we have here isn't as good, as it's kinda farther out in
the boonies.. but I'm just glad we have it.
I'll post some pics later of our new hood. That
is, if I don't get trampled by the wild horses on my way out..

If you have banana trees, will you have monkeys too?
