Which is odd, as I spent the last few hours cleaning the house. I just hate cleaning. Hate it. I know now that I'm married I'm supposed to be like, a grown up or something.. or mature.. but, it just hasn't happened yet.
I'm nothing like my mother. She's like this cleaning energizer bunny. It's like she GETS her energy from cleaning the house. I usually mope around for awhile first, sigh really dramatically, think about how much I DON'T want to clean.. and then I reluctantly start. But I have to take breaks, and when I'm finished I feel like I deserve a chocolate bar and a 3 hour nap.
And I still totally cut corners... like today, I was vacuuming in our bedroom, and instead of moving the shoes out of the corner, I just vacuumed around them. Who's going to know?! Well, no one except my husband who can't breathe half the time because of his asthma. Hahaha. Oh.. not funny.. ok.. next time I'll move them.. I promise.
So... after I finished the cleaning *ew* I of course decided I deserved a treat. I had some kiwis that had been sitting around for awhile and decided there must be a recipe online somewhere that involved kiwis... and then I thought about coconut.. mmm.... and thought about kiwis and coconuts mixed together, in a muffin! Delightful. And this was my result.

I also used 2 whole eggs instead of the whites, as it's a waste of an egg otherwise... and I melted the butter. I think you should try it.

i can relate to the dislike of cleaning. ugh.
